The 2nd International Conference on Evacuation Modeling and Management () will be heldAugust 15-17, 2012 at Chicago, Illinois.This is the second conference in the ICEM series, in which the first was held in Delft in 2009.

Deadline for abstract submission: February 15, 2012

ICEM brings together researchers dealing with the development of theory, models and (simulation) tools to explain, predict, and control pedestrian and traffic flow operations in case of emergency evacuation. The objective is to synthesize knowledge and insights from the fields of traffic flow theory, behavioral modeling, emergency psychology, and systems and (optimal) control. We kindly invite researchers from the various fields to share their expertise in this new research stream in transportation network dynamics.
